St. Mark’s CSI Church was established in February 2004, a caring and sharing community of believers bound together by the liturgical and ecclesiastical practices of the Church of South India. We strive to promote fellowship and concern and make our resources available to meet the spiritual and social needs of one another as well as the community that we serve.

Our congregation is affiliated to the Central Kerala Diocese of the Church of South India. We acknowledge our Bishop, Rt. Rev. Thomas Samuel as our spiritual leader. Led by our Vicar, Rev. Shiju Samuel, Holy Communion services on Sundays are conducted in English and Malayalam. We have an active Sunday School and a vibrant choir. Other auxiliary groups include Men’s Fellowship, Women’s Fellowship, Youth Group and the Fasting & Prayer Group. In keeping with our commitment to reach out to the needy and less fortunate, St. Mark’s actively participates in the support of missions, charitable organizations and disaster relief efforts.

The day-to-day functioning of the congregation is entrusted to the Church Committee. Members elected to serve in 2009 include Rev. Shiju Samuel (President), Tony Philip (Vice President), Thomas Koshy (Secretary), Devid George (Treasurer), Susheela Philip (Choir Secretary), Sheela Thomas (Sunday School Superintendent), Thomas Kurian (Men’s Fellowship Secretary), Sheela Joseph (Women’s Fellowship Secretary) and Anil Philip (Youth Leader)

Over the years, St. Mark’s CSI Church has been an integral part of the Ecumenical Council of Kerala Churches in Chicago and are thankful to be associated with the silver jubilee anniversary of the organization.

We are currently located at 306 S. Prospect Ave in Park Ridge. All of you are welcome to drop by at your convenience and join us in praise and worship.
